At 5 PM today, the Union Committee of the Labor Wing of the Jatiya Party (BJP)-affiliated 'Gorur Gari' symbol, supported by Andali Rahman Partha, was officially announced in Ward No. 4, Kachia Union, under Bhola Sadar Upazila.
The announcement was made by Alhaj Jamal Uddin (Choket), the Convenor of Bhola District Labor Party and a popular labor leader.
On this occasion, thousands of people from the union, along with leaders of various wings and affiliated organizations of the Jatiya Party, were present to welcome the newly formed committee. The event turned into a massive public gathering — a true reflection of the hopes and trust of working-class people.
In his speech, Alhaj Jamal Uddin (Choket) said:
“I do politics for the welfare of workers and to stand beside the helpless and poor. Under the leadership of Partha Saheb, we will raise the flag of the 'Gorur Gari' symbol high in Bhola, InshaAllah.”
He further stated that the core objectives of the committee are:
To secure the rights of the working people
To provide medical and humanitarian support
To ensure social security
To uphold the dignity of laborers
The event was graced by Amirul Islam Ratan, a central leader of the Jatiya Party (BJP), as the Chief Guest, and renowned organizer Motasin Billah as the Special Guest.
In their speeches, the guests said:
“Under the leadership of a labor-friendly leader like Alhaj Jamal Uddin Choket, the organization will be strong, united, and welfare-oriented.”
During the announcement, party activists symbolically brought two bulls and a traditional bull cart to the stage as a gift — a symbol of labor and a tribute to the ‘Gorur Gari’ election symbol.
Various print and electronic media journalists from Bhola district were also present to cover the event.
